Juz got back from the TDM Nexus conference and i have to say that it’s cool! Really impressed by how they managed to pull it off at such a large scale. Amazing.

totally love the live chatting idea that keeps people’s attention throughout.. With a note taker/commenter keeping audience in relation to the topic and showing websites that are mentioned, tink that’s a wonderful tool where audience can participate and also stay engaged on topic..

my fave panels are the future of the web and riding on disruptive change. there were some great insights from nat torkington and the rest of the panel. Discussion on the long tail and the challenges of satisfying varied demands (e.g. Amazon.com) of the customers was really interesting. It was also great to see farzad again after 1.5years. It’s cool to hear about how industries that originally faces high lead times can employ web technologies to accelerate the get to market timing and also come up with new ways to reach out to customers (e.g. the book writing process). Am impressed that he remembered me. =) He’s a really cool guy and a great mentor for NOC. Thanks to Prof Wong (fabulous prof i”m really glad to be working with on my thesis). Cory was interesting too, upfront and revealing his decision to hire 3 out of 100 Singaporeans, one of them from nanyang poly, who have carved a niche in digital media definitely. cool!

The chillout session was pretty amazing too.. kudos to the team that pulled it off. really liked the intriguing discussions. We need these sessions to bring entrepreneurs together, to share, catch up, explore and create.. good job indeed!

hoping to reach the creation stage someday soon.
