Clinton lost out to Obama and though i was initially excited by the notion of the first female president, eventually the world came to realise that it doesn’t matter whether the president is male, female, white or black. What matters is to have a president that can lead the Americans to a better tomorrow. The war and the economy is still the most contented topic this election. However, it might be time for the Americans to face up to the reality of the co-existence of a major power that may take over the brotherly role the US has always fathered.
Obama has a way with words and despite the lack of experience, he managed to woo the votes. Now the cross-fire with Mc Cain is about to start which leads to the final showdown. Obama also have a tough task on hand, running through the list of potential VPs to select the right person that fits the bill. Obama is indeed quite a character. He applauded the opposition for making him a better person. He promised a fresh breath of air. Clinton is open to the post but will Obama pick her? It’s gonna be a tough choice but a choice is necessary. Either way, results will soon be released and somehow, the show is only just about to start.
By the way, thanks Jarius for the nomination for Singapore Blog Awards ‘Most Insightful Blog’. SPI rocks! =)
